A comparative expression in the first clause is always balanced by a comparative expression in the second clause :

3- The + compr adj + S + V , the + compr adv. + S + V
OR : The + compr adv + S + V , the + compr adj. + S + V
The easier a job is , the quicker we'll finish .
4 - The + more (+noun ) + S + V , the + more ( +noun ) + S + V
The more money Jasmine earned , the more clothes she bought .
5- The + less ( +noun ) + S + V , the + less ( +noun ) + S + V
The less David earned , the less food he could afford to buy .
6- The + more ( +noun ) + S + V , the + more ( +noun ) + S + V
OR : vice versa
